Jowai, Oct 31: The ‘1st Inter Dong Promotion Invitation Football Tournament-2021’ organised by Phramer Youth Cultural & Sports Club (PYC&SC), concluded on 30th October, 2021 at Madan Ruiong (Phramer), West Jaiñtia Hills District.
Before the final match a short meeting was held where the MLA of Sutnga-Saipung Constituency, Shitlang Pale, was the Chief Guest in the presence of the MDC from Shangpung, Treilang Suchiang, amongst others.
Pale, while delivering the speech, lauded the efforts of the PYC&SC for organising the tournament which will help identify hidden talents from the area.
Altogether there were 32 teams who participated during the tournament and in the finals Madanthad Youth Cultural Sports Club (MYCSC) defeated 7 Brother FC by 1-0 where the winner was awarded the cash prize of Rs. 30,000 while the runners up team was awarded Rs. 20,000.
The Best Goalkeeper was awarded to Deimiki Rabon, Best Player and Top Scorers to Ricky Suchiang, and the Best Discipline Team was awarded to Private FC.
