Manipur Assembly Election Results 2022 | Manipur headed for Hung Assembly; BJP wins 13 seats, JD(U) emerges as dark horse with 4 seats, NPP wins 2 seats

Shillong, Mar 10: The latest poll updates suggest that Manipur Assembly is headed for a hung assembly although BJP is all set to return to power having won 13 seats and leading in another 12, emerging as the single largest party in the 60-member House.
Interestingly, Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)] has turned out to be the dark horses by winning 3 seats and leading in another 4.

Conrad Sangma led NPP has also won 2 seats so far and was leading in another 5 constituencies.

Indian National Congress or Congress on the other hand registered an abysmal performance, having won just three seats so far and was leading in one seat.

Kuki People’s Alliance (KPA) has won one seat and leading in one more seat while Naga People’s Front (NPF) has also won one seat and was leading in 4 seats.

2 independent candidates have also won and another one seat was being led by independent.
