Guwahati, Nov 4: Altogether 20 students from Andro, Yairipok, Yambem and Angtha villages of Manipur, part of National Integration Tour, organised by Spear Corps, interacted with the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, at Rashtrapati Bhawan on Monday.
During this memorable interaction, the students presented a memento to the President and shared their dreams and aspirations, expressing how life journey of the President inspires them.
Organized under Operation Sadbhavna, this tour will enable the students to visit Lucknow and Agra, allowing them to witness significant historical sites and further deepen their understanding of India’s diverse culture.
This initiative aims to promote national integration and empower young minds through exposure to the rich cultural heritage of India.
The students are scheduled to return to Imphal on November 12.
The aim of the national integration tour by Indian Army is to foster unity and understanding among the youth of India, ensuring that they grow into responsible citizens who contribute positively to society.
