Marbisu’s St. Paul School celebrates Diamond Jubilee with annual get together

Shillong, Dec 15: St. Paul Higher Secondary School, Marbisu on Friday organized its Annual Get-Together, bringing together past pupils and current students to commemorate their Diamond Jubilee celebration.

The Diamond Jubilee commenced with an inauguration ceremony led by Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong as the Chief Guest, alongside the presence of KHADC Chief Pyniaid Sing Syiem, Mawphlang MLA MB Kurbah, the school principal, and students.

During the event, the School Management presented a memorandum seeking an extension to enable the school to introduce the Science Stream for Classes XI and XII.

Addressing the gathering, the Deputy CM pledged a government allocation of Rs. 20 lakhs, while the KHADC chief announced an additional Rs. 20 lakhs from the council. Furthermore, the Local MLA committed Rs. 5 lakhs to facilitate the school’s upgrade for the implementation of the Science stream.
