Mawphlang college to start academic session in May, minister ask official to complete pending works

Mawphlang, Feb 26: Education Minister Rakkam A. Sangma, conducted an official inspection of the College of Science and Commerce in Mawphlang today.

The Minister was accompanied by several high-ranking officials, including the Director of the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education (DHTE), the Chief Engineer of PWD (B), the Joint Director of DHTE, the Executive Engineer of PWD, the Sub-Divisional Officer of PHE, and representatives from MeECL.

During the visit, the Education Minister toured the college campus, reviewing its facilities and infrastructure.

The inspection aimed to assess the current state of the institution and identify areas that could benefit from improvements, particularly in terms of educational resources and infrastructure development.

Following the inspection, the Minister directed the concerned department to complete the pending work and ensure that the academic session begins by May or June next.
