Aizawl, May 21: The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) has declared the results for the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Class 12 examinations today.
According to official details, 11,994 students registered for the exams, 11,824 appeared, and 9,227 successfully passed.
The overall pass percentage stands at 78.04%, with boys achieving a pass percentage of 78.32% and girls at 77.79%. Among the streams, Arts has the highest pass percentage at 79.71%, followed by Commerce at 79.60% and Science at 72.69%. Notably, the overall pass percentage in the 2023 exams was 78.66%, with Boys 79.86% and Girls 77.67% cleared the exams. So, there is only a minor change in the pass percentage.
Linden Lalremruatpuia topped the Arts stream with 471 marks out of 500, while David Lalhminghlua secured the first position in Commerce with 460 marks. Lalramdina Ralte emerged as the Science topper, scoring an impressive 477 marks out of 500.
MBSE officials expressed their satisfaction with the results and congratulated the students on their performance.
