Tura, June 30: In a shocking incident, a man has been murdered and his body was left abandoned by the roadside of the state highway at Samanda Megapgre, towards Williamnagar.

According to reports, the murder is suspected to have occurred on Thursday night.

The body of the victim was found on Friday morning by the villagers by the side of his two wheeler bike.

The deceased has been identified as a 38 year old, Dalmen M Sangma son of Late Tarjan R.Marak.

The victim was a resident of Williamnagar.

Meanwhile, the East Garo Hills police are investigating the murder case.
