Holi is a Hindu festival that is celebrated in India and other parts of South Asia, usually in March. It is also known as the “Festival of Colors” or the “Festival of Love”. The festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, and the end of winter. People celebrate Holi by smearing each other with coloured powders, throwing water balloons, and having feasts with family and friends. It is a time for forgiveness, renewal of relationships, and letting go of past grudges.
