SHILLONG, MAY 15: The state police are in the process to file chargesheets against five members of the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) for their alleged involvement in the three murder cases at Ichamati and Mawlai Mawroh.

“We are making all efforts to expedite the investigation and to ensure the charge-sheet for all three cases will be filed within the timeframe,” East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police Rituraj Ravi said on Tuesday.

He informed that four persons have been arrested in connection with the two murder cases at Ichamati and one in the Mawlai Mawroh murder case.
