Shillong, May 3: The state on Wednesday recorded as many as eight new Covid cases. Of these, 4 cases were detected in West Garo Hills, 2 in East Khasi Hills and 1 each in South Garo Hills and South West Khasi Hills.

The total active cases stand at 18.

Two patients have also recovered while three are still being hospitalized.

So far, the total confirmed Covid cases in the state is 96864.
