Shillong, Aug 28: The Nongjri Presbyterian Secondary School under-15 team of Meghalaya have clinched the champions trophy of the International Subroto Cup after winning 3-0 against Uttar Pradesh in Bangalore on Wednesday.

The goals were scored by Prosperwell Ryngtong, who netted twice, and Namebanlam Nongkseh, who added the third.

This is the seventh time that a Meghalaya school has won a Subroto Cup title.
