3 killed in Cyclone
Guwahati: At least three persons died in West Bengal and its coastal areas suffered extensive damage, as Cyclone Remal tore through the state and neighbouring Bangladesh, where 10 persons died, with winds speeds reaching 135 km/hour.
Two doctors arrested
Guwahati: The Pune police investigating the Porsche car crash case on Monday said they had arrested two doctors of the state-run Sassoon General Hospital after it came to light that blood samples of the juvenile driver were thrown into a dustbin and replaced with another person’s samples which showed no traces of alcohol.
Bomb threat
Guwahati: Passengers of an IndiGo Airline flight from Delhi to Varanasi were evacuated at Delhi airport after it received a bomb threat on Tuesday morning. The aircraft has been moved to isolation bay and further investigation are being carried out.
Five arrested by NIA
Guwahati: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted multi-state raids and arrested five persons allegedly involved in international human trafficking and cyber fraud syndicate.
