SHILLONG, Nov 21: The Meghalaya Retired Deficit School Teachers Association (MRDSTA) will hold its general meeting on November 26.
In a press statement, president of MRDSTA, ED Nongsiang, said that the meeting will be held at Laban Bengali Boys’ Higher Secondary School from 11: 30 am. He urged all teachers, especially those who have retired to attend the meeting.
Nongsiang said that the meeting will discuss the issues related to pension and DCRG and for seeking appointment to take up the same with the chief minister.
The association has been demanding the state government to release their long pending Death-cum-Retirement Gratuity (DCRG) as per the Meghalaya 5th Pay Commission.
