Shillong, Nov 19: Music was high and music lovers from North East and beyond had converged to croon and sing with Ne-yo, the American R&B singer, at Cherry Blossom Festival at Madan Kurkalang, in Ribhoi district of Meghalaya.
“It was a wait worth it,” said a fan who was seen screaming and singing as Ne-yo raged the stage with high powered energy packed show.
Ne-yo called up three selected fans on the stage, who were lucky to dance alongside him.
It was a moment for music lovers and dancers, as colours of light and the winter chill were just perfect to dance, scream and shout. Fans were soaked in festivities.
He performed all his hit numbers including “So sick”, and “Miss Independent”.
Speaking to Hub News moments before the show, Ne-yo said, “He had a great time in Shillong and look forward to more such shows.”
“The next song I write, it will definitely be inspired from Meghalaya”, when he was asked if he would pen down a new song.
Ne-yo is known as a songwriter as well. He writes his own songs and also for other. He shot to fame when he wrote Mario’s 2004 hit “Let Me Love You”.
