Guwahati, Dec 15: The Director General of Police, GP Singh, said on Friday that the National Investigative Agency (NIA) will probe the three grenade blast incidents that recently happened in upper Assam.
Talking to media persons, DGP GP Singh said, “NIA team will be arriving in Guwahati to investigate the three blasts, and all the details about the incidents will be forwarded.”.
“None of the guilty will be spared. We will take strong action against them who want to disturb the peace of Assam,” the DGP said.
He further said, “The banned Ulfa-I is free to target me. I live in Kahilipara; you are free to target me.”.
Singh urged the insurgent group not to disturb the people of Assam.
