Guwahati, Jan 9: Delhi’s popular North East Festival, which is organised every year in Delhi, was supposed to be organised during January 7-9 at Jawharlal Nehru Stadium got cancelled. But the organisers shifted the festival to Guwahati on the same dates.
The programme content was created with limited audience and digitally steamed.
Olympic Bronze medal winner Lovlina Borgohain walked the ramp with Assamese traditional mekhela chador designed by Bidyut Rakesh and got rave reviews.
Internationally acclaimed actor Adil Hussain was also there along with Lovlina to felicitate her and few others on their contributions towards the region.
