Shillong, Feb 7: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Monday reviewed the progress of various projects under the Shillong Smart City Project.
“The purpose was to see the current status of the work that is going on and I am happy to see the progress,” Sangma told reporters.
He informed that over Rs 500 crore of work is in progress and close to 25 projects are being implemented.
“Another 15 to 20 more projects amounting to about Rs 250 crore will be taken up in the next few days,” he added.
Stating that work is going on as planned, the chief minister said that some of the projects will be completed and inaugurated within the next financial year.
