Shillong, Nov 20: Chief Executive Officer of the Tura Municipal Board (TMB) JRT Sangma has issued a public advisory announcing the compulsory registration of pet dogs and promoting responsible pet ownership across Tura municipality.
In a statement issued on Thursday, CEO stated that a special public awareness campaign will commence on December 8, 2025, in collaboration with the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department. I urge all pet owners within Tura Municipal areas only to cooperate fully with the registration process and adhere to the guidelines that will be issued,” Sangma said.
