PM Modi says after years of wait Lord Ram resides in his mandir

Guwahati, April 17: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that, “today is Ram Navami and after 500 years of wait Lord Ram is in his mandir and now his surya tilak would take place”.

Modi addressed a massive crowd in Nalbari, Assam, where he extended warm greetings on the occasion of Bohag Bihu.

While addressing an election rally in Nalbari, PM Modi said, “in 2014, Modi came with hope. In 2019, when Modi came, he came with trust. And in 2024, today, Modi has come to the land of Assam, Modi has come with a guarantee. Modi’s guarantee means a guarantee of fulfilling guarantees.”

PM Modi unveiled the BJP’s Sankalp Patra on the auspicious occasion of Bohag Bihu, reaffirmed party’s commitment to inclusive growth “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.”

PM Modi questioned, “you tell me have you faced any discrimination with any policy and scheme of the government? There are people above 70 years in every family. They become a huge burden on the family.Elderly people above 70 years will get free medical treatment upto five lakhs,”.

He assured that the NDA government’s schemes are non-discriminatory, aiming to benefit all sections of society. Notably, the NDA pledges to construct 3 crore new houses for the poor over the next five years, ensuring equitable distribution of benefits and continued provision of free ration.

In his address, PM Modi praised Assam’s rich biodiversity and cultural heritage, pledging to elevate the state’s prominence on the global tourism map. He lauded the BJP’s efforts in preserving and celebrating Assam’s cultural heritage, including initiatives like the Kamakhya corridor and the commemoration of Lachit Borphukan’s birth anniversary.

He further stated that, in future Assam will be one of the biggest hub of semi conductor industry,”.
