Tura, Aug 20: Phulbari Police have arrested one individual and seized 12 vials containing suspected heroin (3.47 gm ), cash worth Rs 750/-, and one mobile phone in a successful anti-narcotics operation in West Garo Hills.
Based on credible information, the Phulbari Police Station and CRPF personnel deployed in the Phulbari area of West Garo Hills district in Meghalaya conducted a search after the vigilant public informed them about the same.
The arrested man has been identified as Mominur Islam.

Mominur Islam’s arrest is a significant breakthrough for the Phulbari Police in their ongoing efforts to combat narcotics in the region. The seized heroin and cash will be submitted as evidence for further investigation, while the mobile phone will be analysed to gather additional information related to the case.
