Tura, Dec 9: “It was a night to remember! Did not feel like we were in Garo Hills. The crowd knew all the numbers so well. I truly enjoyed the performance,” said Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma while interacting with Bollywood Singer Armaan Malik.
Over 70,000 people witnessed the scintillating performance of Armaan Malik at the Me’gong Festival on Friday night, which is underway at Jengjal in West Garo Hills.
The crowd were crooning and displaying flash lights as Armaan sang his favorite song “Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon”. From slow to dancing numbers, Armaan had it all for the audience as crowds were seen cheering, “Armaan, Armaan”.
“Super excited to perform at Me’gong. Hearing the audience singing with me is absolutely the best feeling,” Armaan told the crowd.
He performed for over an hour that took the audience on a musical extravaganza as he sang with all emotion and love for the audience that had completely captivated the atmosphere.
The concert was not just a display of emotions and heartbreak, which are reflected in Armaan’s song, but he ensured his versatility as an artist with songs like pehla phela pyar, tere liye hi toh signal tod taad ke, etc. He also sang his newly released number mere khayalo mein.
The much anticipated concert part of Me’gong Festival finally took off on Friday after day 1 was washed out by rain.
