Shillong, July 6: BJP MLA Sanbor Shullai expressed happiness and felt that the people in the state and all tribal people of India should be happy because this is the first of its kind, creating a record in the country, that the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has chosen a tribal lady to occupy the highest post of the country.

“We have urged all party leaders in the state irrespective of their party affiliation to support a tribal candidate,” said Shullai.
