Aizawl, Oct 16: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is likely to commence his Mizoram visit on Monday to campaign for the party’s candidates for the upcoming assembly polls in the northeastern state.

According to reports, the party is likely to announce its candidates for the 40-member assembly polls during Gandhi’s visit.

Rahul Gandhi will also address a press conference before his departure on October 18, he said.

Mizoram will be voting on November 7, and the counting of votes is scheduled for December 3.
