Kohima, May 22: In a violent road rage incident that took place on May 18 at Phoolbari Bus/Taxi Stand junction in Kohima led to the death of Kezhalelie Lawrence.

Two individuals, Neizosetuo Kire and Khrietsonyü Whuorie, were arrested, and a criminal case was registered. The Western Angami Youth Organisation (WAYO) called for a rally on May 22, which was supported by other local organizations, to demand justice.

Minister Salhoutuonuo Kruse condemned the act and urged for swift justice.

Lawrence was a respected leader and PA to the Deputy Commissioner.
