Tura, Sep 4: Today marked the start of the semi-finals of the Inter Church Father’s Fellowship Football Tournament, 2023, at the Chandmari football ground, organised by the Akonggre Baptist Church Father’s Fellowship.

This tournament has been going on since August 17, when the church teams from different parts of Tura took part. There are a total of 32 teams that have participated in this tournament.

Today’s first semi-final match was played between the Rongkhon Songgital father fellowship team and the Modynagar father fellowship team.

Both the teams gave a tremendous performance, but eventually the Rongkhon Songgital father fellowship team won the match by a solitary goal against the Modynagar father fellowship team, becoming the first contender in the tournament finals, which will commence on September 9, 2023.
