Shillong, March 28: A total of 349 crore has been sanctioned as of end of February for the implementation of the Smart City Project in Shillong.
It consists of Government of India grant of Rs 294 crore and state matching share of Rs 55 crore, Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Urban Affairs Sniawbhalang Dhar said in his reply to an unstarred question tabled in the Assembly on Tuesday.
He informed that an amount of Rs 280.98 crore has been spent, as of end of February 2023.
A total of 18 projects are being undertaken under the Shillong Smart City.
