Tura, Oct 31: The North Garo Hills Police on Tuesday observed National unity in NGH in the form of Bike and car rally from SP office Resubelpara to Mendipathar PS and back to SP office at 7.30 am.
The rally was conducted to send a message to the public that to progress as a state and nation unity is very important and without unity nothing can be achieved.
Also, the meeting concluded with pledge-taking ceremony at SP office Resu, said North Garo Hills SP Bruno A Sangma.
Every year, National unity day is observed on October 31st to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
