Guwahati, April 20: The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) has announced results of the matriculation examination conducted this year in a record time of 45 days.
The officials of the SEBA addressed the media in a press meet in Guwahati on Saturday following the declaration of HSLC 2024 examination results.
They said, “OMR sheets for objective type questions were used for the first time this year. The official stated that, “we did not find any difficulties in doing so.”
The pass rate in first and second divisions has increased this year compared to the previous year. The pass rate of the total candidates is 75.7%. The pass rate of male students is 77.3% and the pass rate of female students is 74.4% and the pass rate of third gender is 80%.
This time the marksheet will be the certificate. Candidates can download the results online.
Students who have not passed the examination can request certificate from SEBA if they wish. The examination was conducted for the last time using the name of SEBA.
The compartmental examination will be held in May and the results will be announced by June. The portal will be launched from April 25 to apply for the compartmental examination the official further added.
