Shillong, July 17: The Sub-Divisional Officer (C) of Pynursla Civil Sub-Division has announced a temporary closure of the NH-40 Shillong-Dawki road at chainage 33+00 in Rngain. The road will be inaccessible from 12 PM to 2 PM on July 17, 2024.

This closure is necessary for the removal and clearance of boulders that are precariously hanging at the mentioned location.

Informing this, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Pynursla Civil Sub-Division advised commuters to plan their travel accordingly and seek alternative routes during this period.
