Guwahati, Aug 11: In a shocking incident, the body of a man was found hanging from a tree near Guwahati’s Khanapara bus stop.

The body was found in the early morning hours of Friday by the locals in the area.

The man has been identified as Pranab Mili, a resident of Majuli.

According to reports, he was working as a school teacher in the city. In 2016, he was appointed as a TET teacher.

Meanwhile the victim’s family members have alleged that he was murdered and then hanged to a tree to show that this was a case of suicide.

More details in this case is yet to be known.

However, the police has started investigation into this case and collect details to find out weather it was a case of murder or a suicide case.

A senior police official said that a preliminary conclusion can be drawn only after receiving the post-mortem report.
