Tura, April 30: A man sustained grievous injuries after losing control of his speeding car and crashing into a tree near Jengjal Airport, approximately 30 km from Tura.

The accident occurred around 1:30 AM on Tuesday, when a Maruti 800 car (registration number SK02P-1476) driven by 31-year-old Sangkil B. Marak a resident of Bolbokgre village in Jengjal, veered off the road.

According to police, the victim was alone in the vehicle and was returning from Tapra Alda village after dropping off his friends when the incident took place.

Police added that he has been shifted to the Jengjal Sub-Divisional Hospital for medical treatment.
