Shillong, Sept 26: Startup India in collaboration with PRIME Meghalaya organised an entrepreneurship programme ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ at the Prime Startup Hub, J N Stadium, wherein K N Kumar, Chairman of Meghalaya Farmers Commission, was the Chief Guest.
Speaking at the events, the chief Guest explained about the various entrepreneurship schemes to the participants. The key issues discussed in the programme included: What Prime Startup Hub Meghalaya offers to entrepreneurs? How Zizira is making farmers famous, entrepreneurship as a career option beside others.
Other issues that were dwelt upon in the programme were on frugal innovation or frugal engineering, the process of reducing the complexity and cost of a good and its production. It is about delivering more value at lower costs to more people.
