TSACS report found that 87 per cent of registered IDUs in Tripura are aged 16-30, with the highest group being 21-25 years old, comprising 43.5 per cent of all the IDUs.
World AIDS Day is being observed globally on Friday. This day is observed every year on Dec 1 since 1998. It is an international day dedicated to raising awareness about one of the most fatal diseases- AIDS. It is caused by the spread of HIV infection and is a life-threatening condition.
