Altogether 675 runners, young and old, gathered at the Indoor Stadium in Ampati for the much-awaited “Fit India Swachhta Freedom Run". The event was organized by the District Sports Office, South West Garo Hills, the event was held under the joint initiatives of Fit India, Khelo India, and the Swachhata Hi Seva mission.

A District Level Youth Exchange Programme themed "Today's Youth, Tomorrow's Leader" was successfully held on Tuesday at the Bado Multi-Facility Centre, Ampati. Organized by the District Sports Office of South West Garo Hills, the event aimed to foster leadership skills and cultural awareness among students.
