Over 400 extremists of the National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) and All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF) will soon lay down their arms and ammunition at a ceremony in the state.

Over 300 surrendered militants from various extremist outfits began a 48-hour hunger strike to demand their rehabilitation and other rights. The militants, including members of the National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT), All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF), and Bru National Council of Tripura (BNCT), initiated the strike in the Manu-Manpui area of Kanchanpur, North Tripura.
