The West Garo Hills District Badminton Association has elected its new office bearers and advisory board members for the 2025–2028 term.
The general meeting was held at the Indoor Sports Hall in Hawakhana.
The South West Garo Hills District Badminton Association (SWGHDBA) successfully organized the 3rd Badminton Tournament, 2024, on Friday and Saturday at the Ampati Indoor Stadium.

The highly anticipated Badminton games commenced on Monday at the Tura Indoor Hall in Hawakhana, treating spectators to a display of exceptional skills and talents from players representing various districts.
The 7th edition of the East Khasi Hills Badminton Championship organized by the East Khasi Hills District Badminton Association concluded here on Saturday. Altogether, 120 shuttlers participated in the event ranging from boys, girls, women and men categories respectively.
