While addressing an election rally in Nagaon, AIUDF chief said the AIUDF MPs from Karimganj and Nagaon in Assam, "will open 700 new madrassas after the Lok Sabha elections write in your diary, Badruddin Ajmal is coming to the parliament".
Aminul Islam will be contesting against Pradyut Bordoloi from the Congress party and Suresh Bora from the Bharatiya Janata party, who has secured the Saffron Party ticket for the constituency.
AIUDF is a part of INDIA alliance and the party chief and Dhubri MP Badruddin Ajmal clearly said that in the 2024 election the INDIA alliance will form government by ousting BJP from power.
