Minister in-charge Community & Rural Development (C&RD) Abu Taher Mondal on Wednesday informed that the department has instructed all block development officers (BDOs) to take up with the village employment councils (VECs) for Aadhaar seeding.
Sahar Ali Sikdar, the in-charge Block Development Officer (BDO) of Matia under Dudhnoi LAC in Goalpara District, was arrested today by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption sleuths for allegedly accepting a bribe from a complainant.
