A total of 1354 names have been identified as ‘duplicate electors’, which have their names enrolled in two different places, while 23,161 have been marked ‘expired’ in Meghalaya as on October 8.
Speaking to reporters, Tiwari said that the conduct of the elections have been very peaceful as there was no incident of violence and no incident of re-poll in the state.
