The blood donation camp was organized in response to an appeal by Chief Minister Manik Saha, who called for voluntary blood donations to address the critical blood shortage in hospitals across the state following the recent elections.
With the upcoming elections on April 19 in Meghalaya the Office of the District election officer West Garo Hills under the SWEEP Activity conducted a blood donation camp today at Tura Super Market parking in collaboration with District medical health officer.
