Tripura’s CM commends engineers for their crucial role in state’s advancement

Agartala, July 23: The present state government of Tripura is giving equal importance to the development of urban and rural areas and in this process the most vital role is played by the Engineers said Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Sunday.

He was addressing engineers who had gathered to participate in a blood donation camp organized by the Association of Service Engineers of Tripura (ASSET) on its 5th biannually meeting at Sukanta Academy Auditorium in Agartala.

Saha said that since the beginning of the civilisation with the development of wheels there has been engineering brain working behind them and even in present times computers technology or the medical equipments developed it is the engineering team who are working behind the scenes.

He added that in the development of especially the improved connectivity of the North East region under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Act East Policy the role of engineers is immense and without engineering a national cannot develop.

The Chief Minister said that depending upon the team work of the working engineers in the state he has no doubt that in coming days Tripura will be able to achieve the highest level of performance and reach to the top level.

Dr Saha also appreciated the engineers association for coming forward in its philanthropic efforts by donating blood and which shall save lives.

Later the CM along with the office bearers of the engineer’s association also met with the engineers who donated blood on the day.
