The Border Security Force (BSF) troops while conducting night special patrol on Wednesday and early hours of Thursday has apprehended cattle smugglers and seized a total of 29 cattle from Brahmputra in Mahamaya char area and Salapara char, Assam.
The decision was taken at a meeting held with the State police and the Border Security Force (BSF) following the alleged harassment of a veterinary officer by the BSF.
