The delimitation exercise in Manipur has brought all political parties together in opposition following a Supreme Court directive mandating its completion within the next three months.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday reacted after the Election Commission of India proposed to retain the number of assembly seats in Assam at 126 and the Lok Sabha constituencies at 14 as it released the draft delimitation for the state.
