It is a matter of pride that the Department of Youth Affairs, Government of India, has recommended the name of a research scholar from the Department of Management, NEHU,Tura Campus, Darilin Tang, an inhabitant of Iooksi Village of Jaintia Hills from Meghalaya, as one of the delegates in the exchange programme representing India out of a total of eight delegates from India.
To promote Japan culture in Meghalaya, the Japan Caravan was launched on Friday which was attended by the Ambassador of Japan to India, Hiroshi Suzuki, along with cabinet ministers - Ampareen Lyngdoh and AL Hek.
