President of the Khasi Authors’ Society (KAS) Dr DRL Nonglait on Monday decided not to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, to be held next year.
The demand for the inclusion of the Khasi language in the Eighth Schedule of Constitution of India once again reverberated in the air of national capital New Delhi as all sections of society, in unison, cried out for their voices to be heard by the Union Government.
