This inspection comes days after the Khasi Students' Union (KSU) lodged a complaint with the Divisional Forest Officer of East Khasi Hills against illegal settlers in Mahadev Khola .
The FIR was given by KSU legal affairs secretary James H Mawphniang to the Superintendent of Police (City) Vivek Syiem, urging the authorities to immediately suspend/delete the @LegalLRO twitter accounts for indulging in hate mongering and spreading false information to the public.
At least three persons were arrested and two juveniles were apprehended for their involvement in assaulting and robbing a shopkeeper and her son at Mahadev Khola on Monday.
