Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Thursday said the youth are the greatest assets and resource of the State, and the Government is committed to ensure that the potential of the youth is harnessed to its optimum.
Conrad Sangma graced the event as the chief guest; Education Minister Rakkam A. Sangma was the guest of honour; and the chief secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, D.P. Wahlang, Â attended the event as the special guest.
Addressing a huge gathering, the Deputy Chief Minister said MBOSE is one of the best Boards in the whole country, and acknowledged the significant progress and development in the education sector of the region inspite of various challenges, which the board has actively fostered.

The Meghalaya Board of School Education, commemorating their Golden Jubilee, has initiated an Inter-School tug-of-war competition on Thursday at the New Tura Field in collaboration with the Office of District Sports.
The Education Minister also mentioned that all the government schools and teachers will be mapped and uniform teaching modules would be provided in the coming days so as to ensure better education facilities to children and urged the teachers to take it as a responsibility and teach with dedication.
The toppers were felicitated during the Meghalaya Education Symposium 2023, an event organized by the Education Department which also commemorated the 50th year of the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE).
