Drugs worth over Rs 300 crore have been seized from Meghalaya during the last two years even as Director General of Police (DGP) Dr LR Bishnoi said the problem is still very serious in view of the state's close proximity with the Golden Triangle.
The DGP informed that one team of Meghalaya police is stationed in Guwahati for the last 15-20 days and with the help of Assam police, they are raiding their houses.
