A delegation of the union led by its general secretary submitted a memorandum to Education Minister Rakkam A. Sangma on Wednesday, and apprise him on several issues that need his immediate attention.
He mentioned that, as per the data, 168 primary schools have less than 10 students enrolled, similarly, 101 upper primary schools also have low enrolment of students.
The Education Minister also mentioned that all the government schools and teachers will be mapped and uniform teaching modules would be provided in the coming days so as to ensure better education facilities to children and urged the teachers to take it as a responsibility and teach with dedication.
