In a significant milestone, the eagerly awaited 5th edition of Meghalaya Games is poised to make history as it inaugurates in Tura on January 15th. This marks the first occasion that Meghalaya Games, a prominent sporting event in the region, will be hosted in the scenic locale of Tura, situated in the West Garo Hills district.
The 5th Edition of the Meghalaya Games 2024 Torch Relay was flagged off on Tuesday by the Minister Incharge of Sports and Youth Affairs, Shakliar Warjri, scheduled to be held from January 15 to 20 in Tura, West Garo Hills District.
In a historic move, 183 athletes, representing 11 Associations have come together to represent West Khasi Hills District in the highly anticipated 5th edition of the Meghalaya Games, scheduled from January 15-20, 2024 in Tura.
